Bibliographic details:
Mispagination: 39 mispaginated as 36. Plate facing title page and p. 9, 41, 69, 103; 37. BOD Vet A5 f. 1640 has the stub of a torn leaf preceding the title page of The Court of Love. It is likely that this is a missing frontispiece: see ECCO copy CW3315430950, which has a frontispiece at this point. In Bod Vet A5 f.1640, the top of pp. 113/114 is torn and missing. The Court of Love and the History of Love have a separate title page (dated 1793), pagination and signatures. Titlepage: THE | COURT OF LOVE: | A | VISION. | AND THE | HISTORY OF LOVE. | Imitated from OVID's WORKS, | By Several EMINENT HANDS. | TO WHICH IS ADDED, | A PASTORAL ELEGY. | PART SECOND. | [rule] | Printed in the Year M.DCC.XCIII. Despite the date, however, this is not identical to T132004 (e.g. ECCO copy CW3315741213), having different ornaments.
Other matter:
Prefatory matter: Dedication to Burlington, pp. [iii]-iv; Introduction, pp. [v]-viii. Contents: Included a mangled version of The History of Love Attributions: Items by Hopkins in The History of Love have not been identified as 'attributed in miscellany', because the text no longer follows a coherent organization, is identified as 'By Several Eminent Hands' and has pieces by Scrope and Tate mixed up in it.
