Comments:
Contents: notes at foot of page rather than at end of poems. Place: ESTC suggests 'London?'. Attributions: though 'The History of Love' is attributed to Charles Hopkins on II, p. 13. the various constituent parts of the poem have been treated as if they are not attributed to Hopkins. This is because the text is reproduced in a distorted order which destroys the coherence of the work, is described as 'By Several Eminent Hands', and is interspersed with texts by Scrope and Tate.
Other matter:
Prefatory matter: Dedication to Burlington, sig. A*r-v; Introduction, [i]-iv.
